SAMPLE LESSON PLANS

Some of you may have more room in your overall course plan to add new content; others less. The first option is designed to take up only one class session.  The second, “two sessions, with student research,” has students doing research (either in groups or individually), then reporting their findings in a paper or some other form (a video?  a powerpoint?), and making oral presentations.  (See table, HERE, for a graphic comparison of the three plans.)  Links that describe each option in greater detail:

CUSTOMIZE?  CREATE YOUR OWN SOCIOLOGY OF CLIMATE CHANGE POWERPOINT
Should you wish to create your own powerpoint, rather than showing the prerecorded videos, here are links to the powerpoint slides in the four parts of the “A Sociology of Climate Change” videos, without narration.  Feel free to use any of these, adapting them to you needs, as you see fit.
